A Store announcement with a footnote
BbReferralEarnBot was too late for the Ref&Earn contest judges. It still reached the BB Store on 27 April 2025.
The announcement described a referral bot built with SmartBot technology and offered it as a starting point for other bots. It also explained the awkward bit plainly: the work had been submitted late, so it had not been evaluated.
There was no prize place to attach to this release. The bot entered the Store’s contest category with the missed deadline still part of its story.
The results had a zeroth place
A week earlier, the 20 April results had opened with another unusual entry: zeroth place. It belonged to a BB Team version based on a contestant’s work, listed outside the competition with no prize.
That contestant’s own entry was listed separately in first place, with 64 points and a $300 award. The team version did not create an extra paid position.
