Ten entries go to the judges
On 1 May 2025, BB closed submissions for Around BB and posted ten video links. The judges were reviewing the entries, with results promised for 7 May.
The chat had its own conversation in the meantime. On 3 May, members compared entries and asked each other to rate more of the submitted videos. The judges’ results were still four days away.
There had been a camera here before
Community video was older than this contest. On 4 October 2018, the BB channel had already shared a video about the app and thanked its creator.
That was a recommendation in a channel post. Around BB gave the format a submission deadline, a judging process and a prize fund.
Three places, ten recipients
The 7 May results awarded $75 to first place. Four creators shared second place at $12.50 each, and the remaining five received $5 each in third place.
The organizer reported that all prizes had already been sent. The $150 fund covered all ten entries.
