“Adesh” to “Command”. “Upbhokta” to “Users”. “Prashasnik Samiti” to “Admin panel”. In October 2024, a community member proposed a Hinglish rewrite using words more familiar online.
BB had asked for help correcting app translations on 21 October. An Arabic reply added explanations to two phrases. The next day brought the Hinglish suggestions and a French revision. These were submitted edits; which ones reached a release is not recorded.
Five years earlier, a whole help translation
Translation help had been part of BB for years. On 7 April 2019, the channel announced a completed Russian translation of its documentation and credited a community contributor.
In July, another contributor began a translation into the language named “Teluga” in the announcement.
One warning and one button
On 14 November 2024, BB’s next request was only two phrases: “Iterations are ending or have already ended.” and the button label “Check”.
Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian replies arrived that evening.
