A name in the green code
On 28 February 2026, BB posted an image of falling green code with no explanatory caption. It read “Mel v0 completed” and “Mel v1 building…”, followed by “Core…” and “Styling…”.
In the chat, people guessed at AI and coding features. They had a name, but no answer.
“Hi. I’m Mel.”
On 4 March, the organizer teased “mel v1” with less than twenty-four hours to go. The following afternoon, BB published a video captioned “Hi. I’m Mel.”
Five minutes later, the organizer announced that the hidden quest, “Mel — who is it?”, had gone unsolved. Earlier images were labelled as three hints, and the organizer pointed out that Mel had already appeared on posters.
From clues to explanations
On 14 April, BB published a Q&A in Mel’s voice, answering questions about the platform and MetaL. By the Help Center announcement on 10 September, she had a place in the documentation too: tips explaining the parts people might misunderstand.
The moment she said hello
The channel’s 5 March introduction took Mel from a festival of colors to the pale blue outfit in her final reveal. Watch the full video with its original sound.
